Eat Clean

Small frequent meals. Like six a day. Always have breakfast, and don’t eat before bedtime, if you can help it. What’s eating clean? Lean proteins, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and good fats like olive oil, avocado, and raw nuts.

Food Sizing

Food moderation is key to natural weight loss. No one wants to give up chocolate fudge cake. No one. And no one wants to spend a whole lifetime counting calories. Food moderation is the best solution for effective weight loss that will last a lifetime, and one that presents a “natural diet,” one which doesn’t depend upon deprivation and cutting out of certain foods. Find your right portion by making a fist. This shows you an approximation of the size of your stomach. While the stomach does expand, expanding means that you’ve probably eaten more than you should have. Keep portions relative to your fist. Any food on your plate, whether it’s peas, mashed potatoes, chicken breast, should be smaller or equal to the size of your fist. Once you get the hang of doing this, you’ll find that when you’re about to eat, you’ll naturally give yourself your healthy sized portion.

Patient

Be patient and kind to yourself. Adjust the diet and workout routine so it is doable. You might not only end up losing the weight. But you’ll probably feel and look great as well.

Sleep

Sleep is vital to our health in so many ways. Does it really come as any surprise that it aids weight loss? We burn near 500 calories while sleeping because our body is working to digest the day’s intake. To do this, adults need between eight to nine hours sleep per night. Get into a regular sleeping pattern to ensure the metabolism’s routine. Be sure, also, to allow two to three hours between eating and lying down so as to give the stomach a chance to digest your food, else it will turn straight to fat.
